Every year around mid Oct, there will be an announcement in the papers to say when the leaves will be turning bright red. During that period many will head to 香山 to catch the fiery red leaves!
In Singapore, we have the "Monkey God Tree" at Jurong! At 香山 there is tree which according to the locals resembles a "tiger"! Rubbing the "face of the tiger" is suppose to bring good luck!
The newspaper news was a little inaccurate as we hardly saw red leaves!

After a 1 1/2 hours hike we finally reached the submit and we were greeted by hundreds of human beings! The submit was packed to the max and filled with people having picnics!
Paid 50 Rmb, to get down within 18 minutes and to reward my tired body! Instead of climbing down and taking another 1 1/2 hours!
