I have been in BJ for close to a month and I decided that it was time to venture out on my own. Partly because my Housemate was busy with her Thesis but also as I am more familar with the transportation system, so less likely I will be lost. ）On a Sunny Saturday, with her instructions on how to get to the Drum Tower 鼓楼 in my notebook, I decided to visit that spot. My main motive of going to 鼓楼 was to buy Mooncake Molds from a baking shop in the vacinity but the indecisive me decided to put that purchase on hold despite spending 30 mins in the shop staring at the molds! I could not decided whether their cut was deep enough! I decided to use the remaining time before sun down to explore the area.
