A Childhood Tale

My cousin has met a fine young lady, who is one head taller than him, who told her parents that she will marry no one none other than my cousin. Even the prospect of going to a different primary, secondary, pre-university and university, did not waver her conviction that he was her chosen partner for life - "I will find him and then marry him". Such childlike faith. Over the christmas period, my Uncle and Aunty had a "dry run" wedding dinner rehearsal with their "future in laws" During a dinner party at the "bride's house", the "father of the bride" jokingly added that this resembles an engagement party 20 years down the road between the two families. And what he likes about a chinese wedding is that the groom's family has to pick the tab! It will be a fairytale ending if both of them end up together.
