I have not heard the term Modesty panel till today. What does it mean?


Complimentary from Wikipedia:
A modesty panel is a thin board of wood or metal that is attached to the front of a desk, drafting table, electronic organ, or similar item. It is intended to shield legs, ankles, or feet from view in a variety of circumstances. The panel provides privacy for the person seated at the desk or organ, as it covers the upper part of the legs.

My Pursuit - Happiness

2010 will be the year which I will pursue activities that will make me happy. I realised that there is no point drawing up a NY resolution list which I have no will power to keep.

A Childhood Tale

My cousin has met a fine young lady, who is one head taller than him, who told her parents that she will marry no one none other than my cousin. Even the prospect of going to a different primary, secondary, pre-university and university, did not waver her conviction that he was her chosen partner for life - "I will find him and then marry him". Such childlike faith. Over the christmas period, my Uncle and Aunty had a "dry run" wedding dinner rehearsal with their "future in laws" During a dinner party at the "bride's house", the "father of the bride" jokingly added that this resembles an engagement party 20 years down the road between the two families. And what he likes about a chinese wedding is that the groom's family has to pick the tab! It will be a fairytale ending if both of them end up together. Lets just wait and see how their puppy love story unfolds as they begin a new journey in a new school after Planet Montessori http://www.babyplanet.com.sg/about.htm
