I spent Halloween at 后海, we didn't doll up in Ghostly Garments but one of the highlight's of the night was that both of us tried 臭豆腐. The pungent stench could be smelt like 10 meters away! It smelt like a mixture of dung and rotting rubbish! The main difference between the two stalls is that the one with the blue signboard serves pan grilled black bean 臭豆腐 and the one with the red signboard serves deep fried 臭豆腐! After a while your nose will get used to the stench and queuing for the beancurd becomes a less smelly affair! We found 臭豆腐 quite delicious, tasted like normal tofu, aside from the fact that your mouth will smell like 臭豆腐 after :( So this is a must not eat if you plan to go for a date, unless you are dating 臭豆腐 owner's daughter/ son :P

Someone drew this on the wall!

Even though I stood there staring at the rack for like 5 minutes I still could not figure out what exactly was on sale. Hallowmas?? What did that mean?

A stall was set up to help passerbys with their Halloween Make up!

Community Dancing at Hou Hai, as long as you have two feet, do join the crowd, it is quite fun!
